My eye is much more drawn to and excited by the strength of color placement and vertical elements at the edges that you’ve done here, than by the subtlety of yesterday’s work. I feel like an unrefined brute or something. 🙂

I’m pretty happy with this one. So then, we are both unrefined brutes? I sort of feel like this week is a warm up. Sometimes, I sketch the landscape like this to loosen myself up after a period of not working. This time it happened to vault into a finished piece. Glad you like it.
