 Within the Storm, 2014 – Michaela Harlow – Pastel on Paper, 24″ x 18″
I’m feeling a bit anxious today. Excitement? Fear? After my morning garden design meeting I came back to the studio and worked out some of my nervous energy on paper. It’s 3:30 now. Time to go plant the final six shrubs at one project. Just a few perennials remaining at another site. Perhaps I will finish up this evening or tomorrow morning.

Wow – you have such a gift for layers and reflections, implying so much with superb simplicity. (The sign of a true artist – making the complex look effortless) Those greens are amazing.
