Early start in the studio today. Working in silence. Unusual. Typically I focus on music to hold a mood and quiet the noise in my head —not so today. Light snow falling outside. Wind blowing. Small flock of turkey foraging on the back terrace.

No awkward start today. Hungry for studio time. I’ve been starving for months.
