The weather turned hot & humid —far too muggy for oil painting today. Instead I continue with botanical drawings in graphite with the addition of chalk pastel.

I’m these on a much bigger scale with several different supports springing to mind. I feel an urge to play with texture at the base.

 Flowers have springboarded me back to shape, line and form
